MANNVS is a broadband transformer-based interface stage designed for MM/MI phono cartridges.

It operates as a coupling element between cartridge and phono stage, providing controlled signal transfer and optimized electrical interaction.

 

Concept

 

In MM systems, signal level alone does not define performance.

MANNVS introduces a transformer interface that stabilizes the interaction between cartridge and phono stage, improving signal transfer conditions rather than acting as a pure gain device.

The 1:2 ratio provides moderate voltage increase while maintaining cartridge loading integrity.

 

Architecture

 

MANNVS is built as a passive transformer stage:

  • broadband transformer coupling,
  • fixed 1:2 winding ratio,
  • direct integration between cartridge and phono input.

The structure is designed to preserve signal consistency while reducing sensitivity to input conditions of the phono stage.
